1975 Pepperell, Massachusetts Bicentennial Commemorative Medal
Super High Relief - Bronze Medal - Portrait of Sir William Pepperell
Outstanding original 1975 Bronze Bicentennial Commemorative Medal from the town of Pepperell, MA.
This medal was struck in 1975 and was sold at the 200 year celebration festival, along with a companion Sterling Silver version.
It has been tucked away in the Pepperell Town Hall until now, where it has seen the light of day again, and is ready for purchase.
Medal comes in original sealed plastic bag with pamphlet describing the town. The medal itself features a bust of Sir William Pepperell under 'PEPPERELL MASS' and over 'A District - April 12, 1753 ~ Town - Aug 23, 1775.
The reverse side depicts the Col. William Prescott Home, Pepperell's Covered Bridge, The Old North School House & the Minute Man Memorial.
Measures 1 1/2" Wide and weighs a full ounce. The pamphlet folds out to reveal a good amount of information about the town's history, printed black on white paper.
Condition is Outstanding, Mint, Never Opened, Sealed in Original Bag, No Damage, No Discoloration, Nice High Relief.
